Cresta Run
January 2008
Richard Hindley and his mate, Sean Emmett, survived, and even reckon they enjoyed the "Ultimate Thrill" of charging head-first on a skeleton toboggan down the Famous Cresta Run at St Moritz. The temperature was minus 16 degrees centigrade at the time. The winding course is 1.2 kilometres long with a drop, from top to bottom, of 514 feet, the gradient being as steep as 1 in 2.8 in places.
Richard & Sean raised over £1,000 for Breast Cancer Research and wish to thank all family and friends who made donations. Well done, lads!
Here's a few photos:
Cool, eh? Well, freezing actually!
