Andy brought his cheerful disposition to the club whenever he was there and produced numerous performances of value, with the bat, ball and gloves.
His runs would often come quickly (his hockey expertise to the fore) and although productive on the leg side, he would frequently score runs all around the ground.
He is a more than useful bowler at a sharp pace, and could also spin the ball prodigiously if required. He had kept wicket for his school side, and stepped up to do that for us when we needed him to.
Despite involving considerable travel, he was always keen to help train the younger boys on a Friday and attended whenever transport could be arranged and school commitments allowed.
Andy has decided his award money should be spent on bowling machine balls, 12 "Incrediballs" and keeping glove sets for the Under 9s.
