Under 11s at the County Ground
Thursday 12th May 2016
With 1st XI player Jack Potticary being named in the combined Essex Premier League and East Anglian Premier League team for the 4th Annual T20 warm-up match against the Essex Eagles, Shenfield Cricket Club were invited to field a team of six Under 11 players to take part in a Kwik Cricket tournament at the Essex County Ground, before the T20 game.
The boys were joined by Jack and a member of the Essex squad, making up a team of eight for their friendly match, in which they were triumphant.
The boys' shirts for the evening were kindly donated by Tom Fulk of TF Cricket for the game.
Following the Kwik cricket game, the team were invited to stay and watch the T20 game which was played to raise funds for The Essex Cricket Foundation.
A very big thank you to Jack for what was a brilliant experience for the boys who attended.
It was a fantastic evening, throughly enjoyed by all the boys and their parents.
