Happy retirement to Shenfield CC legend Matt Salisbury!
A One Day Cup and County Championship Division 2 winner - He took 141 first class wickets across his stints with Essex, Hampshire, Durham and Leicestershire. He took 186 professional wickets across all formats in total.
We couldn’t be prouder of everything Matt has achieved in the game, playing with and against some of the best to ever to it in this country during his 10 year professional career.
Before becoming a professional, he was at the heart of one of the more successful periods in our 1st XIs history from 2009-2018.
His performances with bat and ball were key to multiple promotions, top three Premier League finishes, the Bertie Joel Cup in 2010 and a League Cup win in 2011.
